Volunteer Registration – NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Thank you for your willingness to volunteer with Word of Life. We are grateful for your heart to serve and partner with us in sharing the Gospel and supporting young people. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people, we require all volunteers to comply with the NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) requirements.
Why a WWCC is Required?
The WWCC is a mandatory requirement for anyone working or volunteering in child-related work in NSW. This check helps keep children and young people safe by screening people who work or volunteer in child-related roles. Word of Life is committed to providing a safe, trusted environment across all programs, events, schools, and church-based activities.
Application Requirement
If you have applied for a NSW Working With Children Check, you may temporarily provide your Application Number. Once approved, you must supply your confirmed WWCC number before continuing in any child-related volunteering with Word of Life.
Privacy Notice
Your personal information is collected for the purpose of complying with child safety legislation and managing volunteer engagement. It will only be accessed by authorised personnel and will not be shared outside Word of Life except where required by law.
